About us

La Habra Pop Warner was founded in 1969 by five community minded individuals who recognized a need for a youth sports football program in La Habra. For 43 years the program has been going strong. On average the program serves up to 500 children annually. The season begins in August and completes by November. Esteli Field in La Habra is home for the Lions.

Background Screening Requirement

La Habra Pop Warner, requires that all staff and volunteers have a criminal background check conducted on them prior to participating in league activities.

By selecting the link below, you will ensure that the appropriate background check is conducted on your behalf.

Once the link is clicked you will enter the personal information required to conduct your background check.

You will then electronically sign the required acknowledgement form in order to submit your criminal background check request.

Your completed criminal background check results will be made available to the La Habra Pop Warner for their review.

Coaching/Volunteer candidates are required to self-pay for their criminal background check at a cost of $10.95
