We envision a Utah where complete networks of bike lanes, paths, and trails contribute to livable, healthy communities, allowing everyone to ride regardless of age, ability, or income.

Bike Utah collaborates with all levels of government, organizations, agencies, businesses, and the general public to develop active transportation plans, educate thousands of children and adults, increase safety through legislation, and improve quality of life for residents and visitors with more bike lanes, paths, and trails.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer or employee with Bike Utah, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

Bike Utah, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our mission, please consider paying for your volunteer background check via your personal credit card (speak with your Bike Utah administrator if you have any questions).

By self-purchasing your volunteer background check, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
