About Us

Active Plus is an organization founded by two former collegiate athletes that aim to inspire, motivate, and educate people of all ages. Our mission is to promote healthy lifestyle choices through increased physical activity, sports recreation, health education and preventive measures to better health. Active Plus is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, meaning all donations are tax deductible.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer, contractor or employee with Active Plus, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.

Active Plus, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our mission, please consider paying for your volunteer background check via your personal credit card (speak with your Active Plus administrator if you have any questions).

By purchasing your volunteer background check yourself, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
