Our Mission

The mission of Preble Street is to provide accessible barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty, and to advocate for solutions to these problems.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be an employee with Preble Street, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.

Once your background check is complete, the results will be made available to Preble Street for their review.
