About Us

The VillageRides program is administered by the Jewish Council for the Aging of Greater Washington (JCA) to support participating villages and community organizations (move here) in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, Maryland that provide free volunteer transportation for seniors and disabled adults who need a ride.

With a little neighborly support from volunteers like you, seniors can avoid isolation, maintain a better quality of life, and live independently, as they “age in place."

Background Screening Requirement

Prior to driving for a VillageRides Participating Organization, volunteers are required to submit to a criminal and motor vehicle background check.
