Clearview Communities - Position Classification

Our Mission

The mission of Clearview Communities is to create a superior therapeutic residential experience for persons with chronic mental illness. We will be comprised of a fully staffed supervised group home, group homes designed to foster semi-independent living, and an office-based psychiatric rehabilitation program. Clearview Communities will offer a truly unique and comprehensive program for young adults with mental illness seeking to make the transition to independent living in the community.

Our goal is to foster hope for recovery by helping residents develop skills to create balance and live independent lives. Through recovery, people with psychiatric disabilities rebuild and further develop their social, environmental, and spiritual connections.

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of treatment and rehabilitation held by Clearview Communities includes several basic tenets that are expressed through the programs for clients.

· Belief in recovery
· Belief that earlier functioning can be partially or fully recovered
· Strengths-based approach
· Motivational Interviewing helps connect treatment with what motivates each individual
· Clients are in different stages of change towards their individual recovery
· Collaboration in creating the individual plan for each client
· Modeling, practicing, feedback and support for change

People have the capacity to make positive changes in their lives. People have the desire and drive to move forward and grow to reach potential and improve quality of life. It is important to support people with mental illnesses to identify strengths and challenges to assist them in identifying, accommodating for, and overcoming the barriers they may encounter in moving towards recovery.
