KORE Academy Mission

KORE Academy exists to help students who face challenges in the traditional classroom due to various learning differences, including, but not limited to, learning disabilities, ADHD, processing disorders and high functioning autism.

KORE Academy Philosophy

Every student deserves a safe environment in which to learn.Multisensory teaching addresses differences in student’s learning styles.Expectations are individualized; in order to be fair, students must be treated differently.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer or employee with KORE Academy, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

KORE Academy, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our mission, please consider paying for your background check via your personal credit card (speak with your KORE Academy administrator if you have any questions).

By purchasing your background check yourself, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
