Our Mission
Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is a national network of non-profit volunteer based organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. We offer to people of good will the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and the celebration of life.
Background Screening Requirement
In order to be a volunteer or employee with LBFE, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to the beginning of their service.
All volunteer candidates are required to self-pay when submitting their background check order.
If you are unable to pay for the background check, please send Cathy an email at cmichalec@littlebrotherssf.org and make the request that LBFE covers the cost of the background check.
By purchasing your volunteer background check yourself, you are helping us provide additional services to those in need.
