USHJA Mission Statement

The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), as the National Affiliate for the Hunter/Jumper discipline, promotes our sport and the well being of its participants, offers broad based education for our members and provides the framework for the conduct of our sport.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a candidate for USHJA Instructor Credential, USHJA Instructor Credential Renewal or employee with USHJA (an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations) each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

All USHJA Instructor Credential and USHJA Instructor Credential Renewal candidates
are required to pay for their background check using their personal credit card.
